Helping the customers purchase car wash service at bp station without going out of their car
Successfully introduced car wash service into the BPMe app to enhance the customer experience at bp station, through better understanding how people make car washed in real world.
Challenge
To help bp further improve the customer experience at gas station - we need to introduce the car wash service into the BPMe app following purchasing fuel inside car and pre-ordering coffee without waiting in a line.
Solution
As a person without much experience at gas station, I conducted a field study at a bp station to observe and interview how the customers purchase and use the car wash service, and summarised the problems we need to address during design phase. I also read lots of reviews for all the local gas stations at Google Maps, to expand our consideration.
Outcome
The project successfully enhanced the customer experience at bp station through seamless purchasing-to-using service in the BPMe app. Early feedback showed we delivered a good solution for the users.
Creating Clear Graphic Design to Help Read Easily
To make the menu and instruction clear and intuitive, I created multiple graphics to present the original large blocks of text. And successfully applied more budget from the client to motivate them for more enjoyable experience for users.
